Programmer, operator, founder. Twenty-five years building in the Gulf, from code for Saudi Arabia's power utility to a private AI lab in Dubai.
Zahid grew up in Jamshedpur, studied at Aligarh Muslim University and took an MBA from Sikkim Manipal University. In 2001 he moved to Saudi Arabia as chief programmer at the Saudi Electricity Company, writing software for one of the largest power utilities in the region.
Two years later he became COO of Zahrani Group, a role he still holds. Over the following decade he took on the businesses people rarely see but every city depends on: trading, construction, facilities management, O&M and MEP projects in Dubai, and an education franchise back home in Aligarh.
That operating record is what he now brings to AI. EADPAG runs a lab he built and wired himself, and its products are designed for the day after launch, not the demo. Alongside it sit a fragrance atelier, a steel trading house and a GCC consultancy, all run from Dubai.
